Art For Peace امن کے لیے آرٹ (September 18 — 28th, 2017 National Art Gallery — Islamabad, Pakistan)
An exhibition that invites Asian artists to reflect on their perceptions on peace, harmony, reconciliations, conflict-mediation and dialogue through contemporary art pieces. Artists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Yemen are united to share their interest in political, historical and cultural topics — specifically related to local, international, past and present conflicts. This interaction creates a complex web of inter-connections and subjective conversations; and throughout their artworks, they propose a space of reflexion and human connections in multiple levels.
